Eyewear Dust Buster I, II and III
People dealing with moderate to severe dry eye need a lot more than just eye drops to relieve their symptoms. When you don’t have dry eyes, you do not realize the movement of air over the surface of your eyes near a fan or even when walking. However, when you do have dry eyes, the sensation of the air over your eyes can be very unpleasant, see downright debilitating.
This is where Dust Buster eyewear becomes very interesting. These glasses creates a barrier between your eyes and the environment. It has the effect of reducing the discomfort and symptoms associated with dry eyes because your eyes are found to be much less exposed to external elements such as air flow, wind, dust, etc.. In addition, if you instill a drop of artificial tears in your eyes just before you put the glasses, you create a humid environment very relaxing for your eyes.
You are probably wondering what is the difference between the three models … It is only a matter of size. Model I is the smallest and model III is the largest. Also note that it is not possible to put prescription lenses in the Dust Buster III model due to the shape of the lenses. However, Dust Buster models I and II can accommodate prescription lenses. I invite you to see the specifications of prescription lenses in the descrption products.
It can sometimes be difficult to combine the look with efficiency when looking for goggles to protect our eyes against dryness. It is for this reason that I like the Dust Buster glasses because they are an “acceptable” alternative as for the look and they are not expensive. We are done with the days that people who have dry eyes had to wear swimming goggles or even worse diving goggles.
Personally, I use mine mainly in the evening after a long day at work. I wear them while I watch TV, when I read a book and especially when I’m working on the computer. I also use them when I have to drive for a long time on the highway and on winter time in the car when I have no choice but to put the heater in the car. In my case, I no longer need to wear them all day long… Only when needed!
Whenever I put these glasses, I always take the time to put artificial tears in my eyes immediately before. I also noticed that the effects of moist chamber glasses are cumulative over time. Ie by combining this with other treatments, you can expect that your symptoms improve. Remember that to protect your eyes against the elements that aggravate the symptoms of dry eye can make a difference. This protection can be short-term or longer and it is unique to each according to your needs.
